Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a dealership or automotive schooling
Able to read, interpret and document work performed and recommendations on future repairs
Knowledge of vehicle electronic components, theory, systems, and testing tools and procedures for
diagnosing and repairing
Knowledge of procedures/regulations including handling hazardous material, tools & equipment to
ensure safety of themselves, customers and coworkers
NYS Motor Vehicle Inspection License (Required)
ASE Certification (Preferred)
Responsibilities
Receive work assignments from Service Advisors
Communicate with Service Advisors to obtain work approvals
Test drive vehicle if necessary to verify customer issues and ensure quality repair
Examine vehicle and advise Service Advisors of additional work if needed
