Queensbury Elementary School is recruiting quality applicants for a full-time vacancy as a Speech Therapist.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
-Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies.
-Provide therapy sessions to students individually or in small groups.
-Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress.
-Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
-Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
-Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy through professional development.
Requirements: Valid New York State Certification: Speech or Speech & Language Disabilities (all grades) or Speech & Hearing Handicapped
